Marlise Karlin connects with people at a real level to bring balance to their lives through The Simplicity of Stillness®. In 2002, after a series of profound experiences completely shifted her perception of life, Marlise developed practices for people from every culture around the world to reconnect to their true essence.

Marlise’s own journey was fueled by the limitations of her dramatic childhood circumstances — growing up with an alcoholic parent, becoming a teenage runaway and substance abuser and then becoming a young single mother. She later transformed herself into a successful entrepreneur and award-winning film producer.

In the midst of all her newfound success, a debilitating injury caused Marlise’s unrelenting curiosity to once again delve into what she had always been searching for: a deeper understanding of purpose. From the life-altering realizations offered to her through The Simplicity of Stillness, Marlise developed The Practices®, simple methods so people everywhere — regardless of culture, race or religion — could learn how to reboot themselves and live a balanced life.

A core practice of her work, Stillness Sessions®, help people discover how to reboot themselves. Music and words form a tapestry that guides people to an experience of The Simplicity of Stillness.

From Africa to Indonesia to Eastern and Western Europe, and across North America - people from every walk of life attest to the many benefits these practices have offered them. Many speak of old beliefs that caused them pain, naturally being released, opening the way for more enjoyment in their personal as well as business relationships.

Marlise is currently offering Programs and Retreats around the world, writing her first book, as well as recording Stillness Sessions and a lecture series to be made available in late 2009.
